There are 10 golf courses nearby, driving range, tennis courts, as well swimming pools (wave pool), and riding academies. Numerous hiking trails with various degrees of difficulty can be enjoyed on easy day trips or afternoon outings. The surrounding area offers lots of opportunity for jogging, walking, hiking and fishing (salt and freshwater)
Coquitlam is a mid-sized city in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. It has population of 113,498 (2005), and is one of the 21 municipalities comprising the Greater Vancouver Regional District. Coquitlam is mainly a suburban city, with a large and affluent multicultural community in a region known as Westwood Plateau.
Available throughout the whole year, our offering of accommodation is most appealing during longer stays. A minimum or 3 days are welcome, however our generous floor space and amenities make longer stays appealing. It is like a home base from which you can explore metro Vancouver to Whistler.
Available to our guests is Real Estate information if they desire to know about the market and availability is all regions. The accommodation of Fig Tree is located just one KM from both Hwy 1 and Hwy 7. Take exit 44 at the Port Mann bridge.
The Suite:
The B&B is up on a small mountain overlooking the Fraser valley and River at Colony Farms. Beyond the valley is a view of the Rockies, including the Golden Ears and Mount Baker in Washington State, USA.
Accommodation offered is a spacious suite with a large bedroom with a queen sized bed. Included are a kitchen, dining and living room with a gas fireplace.
Also, we have wireless high-speed internet. Telephone and television are also available.
A continental breakfast is served. This includes hot and cold beverages, cereals, fruit and pastries.
The Fig Tree B&B offers comfort, convenience and reasonable rates.
